A customer asked me today, to top up her prescription pills. Not sure why she thought an insurance company could do this for her though.
I wanted to tell her that it was me that needed the pills.
After dealing with a toffee-nosed snob, a multitude of wrong numbers, swearing, people wasting my time, bad lines, and extremely bad lines, I was in sore need of several valium.
I often think that working in a call centre would be far easier if we could either take drugs or get drunk before starting work. That way we could get through the day in a very nice stupour. Everything would be wonderful! Tickety-boo! Nothing would bother us. Not even the managers. Now there’s a thought…
