Today a customer informed me that he paid his policy yesterday evening over the phone, and today he had received another reminder in the post. He was quite indignant about receiving this reminder. Even though I pointed out that if it had been posted yesterday evening he certainly would not have received it quite so quickly.
Surely this is a matter of simple deduction. It was obviously posted before he paid the policy. Obvious to those of us who are able to think for ourselves. Obvious to anybody with even half a brain. A simple deduction of the Royal Mail don’t collect or deliver at night time. They collect and deliver during the day.
It reminds me of the people who post to us the day before a bank holiday, and then they want to know why we didn’t get it the next day – the bank holiday!
This country is becoming so brainwashed by the media that people are now too lazy to think for themselves. It’s easier to get someone else to do it for them.
